Now, he's basically the greatest dog in the world. He comes when he's called, even when he knows he's in trouble. He does try and sniff cats, but he's learned to leave them alone, basically. He loves him some fetch- it's just adorable when I'm sitting somewhere and he bounds up and drops a ball at my feet.
Mostly though, he's gotten pretty affectionate. He'll sit with me on the couch and put his head on my lap and fall asleep. He'll jump on the bed at night and curl next to me until I kick him off, and then again in the morning when Herself leaves. If I'm watching tv on the couch, he'll walk over and stand next to me, and duck his head under my hand in a fairly unambiguous "pet me" signal.
He still jumps up on people when they come in the door, but I have confidence he'll learn not to do that, too. Man did we get lucky with the dog. He's just the best. I'd rather give up coffee than Blink.
