Rain Dog

Oh black dog with dingo ears,
Curled up on the bed under a wool blanket,
Giving me the moopiest of moopy looks.
It is raining now.
And though you'd like very much to be barking at things,
But at all costs, warm and dry,
Instead, she'll dress you like a fool
In a yellow slicker
And make you splash around in the wet.
