Wow: WotLK

Wrath of the Lich King drops this week. In preparation, I went and got myself a gorilla pet, and re-specced with post patch new talents.

Here's the build.

For those of you that are wow-heads - any suggestions? The gorilla pet is awesome because he's on the tenacity tree, and has "thunderstomp" which basically turns him into a little monkey-paladin. When I start levelling, he can grab multiple mobs for me, and keep them all aggro'd while I whale away with AOE effects. I'll write a quickie macro that both triggers volley and "mend pet" to keep him healthy.

I'm kind of excited!

FWIW, I think the new set up for the Beast Mastery talents is awesome.

I'd leave the build as is. It's pretty much the same one I've been working with on my Hunter.

Why did I NOT know you were on WoW before this???

My suggestions (and my main is a BM hunter I've been raiding with for most of this year):

Drop Endurance Training for Imp Aspect of the Hawk. His max health won't matter as much when you're killing them faster, especially with all the improved pet healing. If you drop two points in Cobra Strikes (as long as you have decent +crit (say, 30% or so?) the full 3/3 is two wasted points) you can then take 2/2 Spirit Bond which more than makes up for the lowered maximum pet health.

Drop Careful Aim for three more points in Mortal Shots. The more you crit, the more your monkey crits, and with the pet crit procs you're going to get more overall DPS than you would out of the extra ranged AP.
