Song Picking Advice

hey inthisguise, and those others of you what are good singers with the pretty mouth-noise and all...
I have to sing two songs for my final in my voice class. I've already settled (and rehearsed) on one, Falcon in the Dive. Bad video, but anyway.
So I have to choose another, and it has to be a classical piece in another language. I've narrowed it down to two - Core N'Grato or Una Furtiva Lagrima. (I'm still forbidden from singing Nessun Dorma).
Videos after the cut - but your opinions?

I don't realy like the first one and I think the second one is very pretty, but a lot of key changes for something being graded. Why vote yourself all that extra work?

I love this aria from The Pearlfishers:

I can't give total recommendations, not knowing your voice, but of the two given, I agree with the other comments. Core is the one to do.

But... and this is my own bias... are you set on doing an opera aria? There are lots of classical pieces that aren't opera, which might be more interesting.

No, not set - but the other pieces that I've seen and/or had recommended didn't thrill me. Like "spirate, pur spirate" which I liked the idea of because it looks like "s-pirate" to me.

I say ditch them both and go with "99 Luftballoons". :)
