Dear Friend;
It's opening night of Scarlet Pimpernel! The theatre event of the year - no - the DECADE - at least amongst friends of me, which you are. It's going to be a heck of a show, with singing, dancing, swordfighting, and some really snazzy costumes. I very much hope that you can come, but if you miss opening night, fear not! There are performances starting at 8pm on 3/31; 4/6 and 4/7 - as well as matinee performances starting at 2pm on 4/1; 4/7 and 4/8. Tickets are $20, and every seat in the house is excellent.
Come see me as a villainous henchman with an outrageous French accent! Or, as a silly English fop with outrageous costumes! If nothing else, come gather fuel for mocking me for years to come!
Above and beyond my own minor part in this production, our lead performers are truly amazing - even at practice their stellar vocal performances get applause every single time. The music is written by Frank Wildhorn, and is very upbeat and approachable. It's a great show for dates, families, and friends alike - and rumor has it that seeing the Scarlet Pimpernel makes you irresistable to the opposite sex for 72 hours after the curtain falls. You wouldn't want to miss out on that, would you?
Spread the word - come see the show!
