We capped our labors off with dinner at Casablanca on Lincoln and Rose. I can't recommend it enough - they hand make their own tortillas over a wood-fired brick-oven. The tortillas are a dream of perfection - an exaltation of what flour might hope to be if it attains enlightenment. It's served hot off the grill and with an amazing salsa verde. Their margaritas are top notch (and were mind-bendingly perfect to unwind from lots of work and stress) and the food superb. The rice dish which accompanied my squid-steak (you heard me, squid steak!) was absolutely the best rice I've ever had. So that's two different things that were the absolute best I've ever had - and all served in a place that's right out of Casablanca ... fantastic Mexican food in a spot-on Moroccan fortress. Only in LA, man.
Afterwards we killed some zombies ... yeah, the TV and computer were the first things I got squared away, of course. Now, the arduous process of finding a place for everything.
