CAT!

My beloved cat is here! There was some last-minute angst about whether this would really happen or not - but for the first time since coming to LA, she was curled up on the bed last night. The difference that makes between "a place to sleep" and "home" is pretty amazing.

I shan't be maudlin, let us just say that her arrival here was profoundly affecting. She is currently engaged in the important Cat Work (at which many cats are busily employed) of rubbing her head on everything in the house.
