This is an entry

I am making an observation on human behavior. It is not earth-shattering, but I am hoping that my clever use of words will make me seem wiser than I am. And also funny! I follow up with self-deprecating humor, but even the most casual observer would see that I'm making insecurity and hoping for validation.

In this part of the post, I seem to aside humor to talk seriously about the issue, but reveal not particularly great insight. It's the kind of faux philosophizing that haunts freshman dorms and tables at last-call, dressed up with a little bit of high-falutin' vocabulary.

Now I make a pop-culture reference from the 90's, trying to separate myself from younger, more energetic writers. The cartoon/tv show/band/video game I reference was actually not all that great, but I remember it fondly because my standards of comparison were more limited back then.

At last, I wrap it up with a self-aggrandizing ploy to provoke nostalgia and empathy. Really I just want attention, though I try to strike a pose suggesting that I am self-actualized and perceptive. I am not.
