Captain America 2.01

I started Project Captain America 2.0 about two months ago. (Project Captain America 1.0 came to a disastrous halt when I injured my fasciia ligaments.) I found the gym I mentioned earlier, and I've been fairly scrupulously keeping up with a 3-workouts-a-week regimen, plus taking supplements, and of course, regular exercise with the pack of wild dingos that inhabits my house.

I promptly gained weight. So that was great.

But this morning was the first time I noticed any positive change at all. Getting out of the shower, I noticed that my leg (the left one...I presume the right one matches but I didn't investigate) resembles something a little less like a gelatinous sack of oatmeal, and something slightly more like a really firmly packed sausage casing. Not yet the rippling, thrusting hunk-of-chiseled-marble that I feel is more in keeping with my lifestyle and image, but palpably less pathetic than before.

So hey. Forward progress is everything. If I keep this up, in a couple of years, I might needs some new pants!
