If faux violence is bad...

Many people decry the effect of faux violence in video games, claiming it will desensitize children to real violence, or even lead them to commit acts of violence.

Does it not logically also follow, then, that Stephen Colbert's faux conservativism will desensitize children to real conservativism, and perhaps also lead them to commit acts of conservativism? Colbert must be stopped.
Destro Ninja

I dream of Ninjas

last night I dreamt i was being stalked by ninjas in white outfits, like Stormshadow from G.I. Joe. They were known as "the Suikoden Ninja" and were the most fearsome of all ninjas. That is why they could wear white, they were just that badass. However, I managed to sneak past them, foiling the attempt of the Suikoden to get me. In a strange twist of honor, because I had once sneaked past them, they were thereafter honor-bound to ignore my presence as long as I made a nominal attempt to be stealthy or remain hidden. However, were I simply out in the open, they would suddenly "notice" me, and continue with their pursuit. This also applied to my friend, while they were with me, so we were all able to sneak past them relatively easy.

I have had dreams about ninjas several times, and they are always incompetent and easily foiled.
