Passive Aggressive Accusations

Sometimes people make posts that paint a negative picture about something that peeves them. But, rather than explain who it is that bugs them, they make generic comments about "This probably isn't about you, but it might be you - but probably isn't."

It's my belief that this is a pretty crappy thing to do to your friends - it makes everyone who reads your post do a mental inventory to see if they've done anything to piss you off, or try and figure out if it's them that you're hating. Why do that to so many innocent people, and put that thought in their minds?

But I could be wrong. Maybe I just don't "get" the non-confrontational California thing - where the greatest of sins is to disagree. So what do you think, folks? Are those "I'm mad at someone on my friend's list, but it's probably not you" posts ok, or are they distasteful? For my part, I pledge not to do that kind of thing again. (I know I have at least once in the past, for which I now suitably expose my posterior to righteous spankery.)

Passive Aggressive Accustions ok?

Never mind, if you don't know why I'm pissed, I'm not going to tell you!
