monkey pirate

joemorf and nephandi are serious, two-fisted man-of-action heroes. They braved the perils of heat in the Valley, as well as the House of Flying Scissors (and its attendant flying scissors) to help me move.

They worked in absurd heat, we were all sweating buckets - and did so without reservation of complaint. I am deeply in debt to both of them for working so hard, and will find some way to show my appreciation. Err, to show it in a way that wouldn't be embarassing to a Congressional sub-committee background investigation, either.

We hung out afterwards, and played Munchkin (joemorf won handily) until my sweetie showed up. We had pizza, beer, wine - and a fine time was had by all. Except that everyone was exhausted, dehydrated, and generally overworked.

I'm immensely grateful to these fine men. If any of you know (or are) nubile young women who could take them on a journey of carnal delights, it would only be entirely justified, and wholly approved of by me.
