Black, Bitter, Fountain of Life

I got up a little early this morning.
It's pay day. Pay day seems like one of life's little reasons to celebrate.
I muddled my way through hosing myself down and clothing my awful nakedness.
I walked out the door. The sky was brilliant blue, bluer than sapphires, bluer than innocent eyes.
How shall I celebrate this most gorgeousest of days? Coffee!
There's a Starbucks in the local Genuardi's, and so I stopped. And they had "Komodo Blend" which seems to combine dragons (which I like a lot) and coffee (which I like just as much.). No monkeys though.
I got a cup. It is hot and black. There are little beads of condensation on the rim of the cup. Little rainbow slicks of oily happiness float on the top. It is strong - strong like the East German Women's Wrestling Team. Strong like James Carville's political convictions. And man is it good. This is liquid happines. This is IQ in a cup. This is a righteous, wicked, bitter, beautiful brew.
Damn it's a beautiful day.
