Music Monday: Your Choice Edition

A few days ago I was sitting down to write and feeling a little unmotivated. To myself I thought, "I will cue up some inspirational music to get the electric fluid flowing!" And then on youtube many of my old standbys didn't do the trick.

So I turn to you, friends. Recommend me a bit of inspirational music? Any genre, just whatever it is that turns your crank and lifts your spirits?

Thank you.

In this case I was working on the fantasy analogue of the Declaration of Independence. But really, I just mean spirit-lifting in general.

Pachabel's Canon in D Major.

Mozart is also good background music when (1)thinking and reading about Enlightenment/Napoleonic Europe (2) playing Empire:Total War.

I find soundtracks to be both inspirational and non-distracting for writing. My favorites are Star Trek VI and Hunt for Red October.
